Yes, 6DM has done a few pro-bono websites for it's community. We also do non-profit organizational website and we usually only charge 50% of the total bill for them.

We usually prefer to keep our businesses separate, but we are open to ideas if you have a servie or product you think we could ultimately use.

The company started off as Swing Designs in 2001, but changed it's name to Six Digit Media in 2005 when is acquired it's LLC status with the state of Ohio.

What languages do you program in?

We are able to program (or script) in just about any languesge, but our specialties are Html, CSS, PHP, Perl, and MySQL.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We only accept check and direct deposit. We discontinued accepting credit cards when we realized none of our clients preferred to pay in that method.

Yes, we offer website consulting. We can do a complete analysis of your site and let you know your strengths and weaknesses, then offer up some serious recommendations.

Can you give me a site with lots of bells and whistles that will “Wow!” customers?

Of course, but there is a fine balance between "bells and whistles" and "just plain annoying". We can help you determine what will create a "Wow" factor and what might cause the user to exit your site in disgust.

Do I need a web developer or a web designer?

You need both and we provide both services. A web designer creates the look and feel of the site, while a developer actually takes that look and feel and turns it into a website with html and programming code.

No. With our industry being completely online, we can do our job from anywhere. Six Digit Media has client all across the country and has no problem doing business.

Both. We are a full service agency that handles any and all web needs for our clients.

We do not get involved with client ideas for a money making site, we simply build the strategy and site to accomplish your goals, then stay with you to ensure all is good.

Yes, we do. We do not end our relationship with our clients after the site is complete, a web marketing campaign is a long term project for us.

Absolutely. If we didn't then our sites wouldn't produce the results that it did.

That is not as important as how it is organized. You can actually have a very successful site with under 6 pages if it is done right. Six Digit Media has done sites with a few as 4 pages and as many as 200 pages.

Usually every 3-5 years. Design standards change, company direction and priorities change, and even company branding changes. We are able to keep your website up to date as often as needed.

Once the site is complete, who owns the site?

You do. the site and it's code is yours.

Should I use Six Digit Media over a smaller, perhaps less expensive firm?

Because Six Digit Media does two things that the smaller agency don't do, we actually get to know our clients in order to perfectly design their site and then we offer real results and return on your investment after the site is complete. Ask the other guys what they do to show their site is working after it is built.

What access and control will I have to update and manage my website?

That depends on how we build your site. We have built sites that allow for the client to update specific areas of the site, and then we have built others where the client prefers we do all the updating. It is completely up to you how much control you have, but know that the more control you want on the site will usually increase the cost of the site.

Will Six Digit Media promote my site on to search engines?

That is really not necessary anymore as search engines index sites at such rapid speeds these days. We simply optimize our sites to allow for search engines to index easily and quickly.

Numerous options are available for this. you can burn them to a CD, email them, or utilize our FTP application for quick transfer.

For web development, we usually require images to be delivered in jpg, png or gif format.

Who owns the rights to custom image work done by Six Digit Media?

You do, as always.

Will I get my images returned to me once Six Digit Media is finished with them?

We usually ask that you send us copies of your images so we aren't in possession of the originals. BUT if you only have one hard-copy version, then we will do everything we can to get them back to you safely.
